When I begin designing a kitchen, one of the recommendations I make most often is surprisingly simple: include more drawers. At first glance, it may seem like a small design choice. How many drawers are needed, and what sizes make the most sense?
Where should the microwave, dishwasher, and cookware storage be located to create an efficient workflow?
Thinking through these details before construction helps prevent costly changes later and results in a kitchen that's both functional and visually balanced.
